Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: September 2026
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for MindFN subscriptions. It is part of our Terms of Use. Payments are processed by Stripe; refunds go back to the payment method you used.
1. What this policy covers
MindFN sells recurring monthly subscriptions (Essentials, Markets and Elite) to a market analytics software platform. Access is delivered instantly and digitally. This policy applies to every subscription bought on mindfn.trade. MindFN Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales; consumers keep the rights the law gives them, and nothing here reduces those rights.
2. Free trial
Every new account gets a 7-day free trial with full access. No card is taken and nothing is charged, so there is nothing to refund. The trial does not turn into a paid plan by itself: you are only charged if you choose a plan and complete checkout.
3. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from Settings, Subscription, which opens your Stripe billing portal, or by emailing support@mindfn.trade. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: you keep access until then, and you are not charged again. There is no cancellation fee.
4. Fourteen-day refund on your first subscription
If this is your first paid subscription with us and you ask within 14 days of the first payment, we refund that payment in full, no questions asked, and end the subscription. This is our own guarantee on top of your statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013; because access starts immediately with your consent, the guarantee is the simpler route, and it applies whether or not you used the service in those 14 days.
5. Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically each month on the same date. A renewal charge is not refunded once the new period has started, except where the law requires it or where section 6 or 7 applies. To avoid a renewal, cancel before the renewal date; your account shows the date and we email you before a trial ends.
6. Mistaken or duplicate charges
If you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged an amount that does not match your plan, tell us and we refund the difference in full. We aim to confirm within 3 business days.
7. If the service is down
If the platform is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours for a reason within our control, you can ask for a pro-rata credit or refund for the time lost. Brief maintenance windows, third-party outages (for example a data feed or payment provider) and problems on your own connection or device are not covered.
8. What is not refunded
MindFN provides market information and analysis, not trading results. We do not refund because an analysis or signal did not produce the outcome you expected, because you did not use the service, or because you changed your mind after the 14-day period in section 4. Please read the Risk Disclaimer and the Terms of Use: the service does not give personal advice and results are not guaranteed.
9. How to request a refund
Email support@mindfn.trade from the address on your account with the date of the charge and a short reason. We reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds are sent through Stripe to the original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank; we resolve almost every case directly and faster.
10. Yearly plans
Yearly plans cost the price of ten months for twelve months of access and follow the same rules as monthly plans:
- The 14-day full refund applies to your first yearly payment.
- A yearly renewal is not refundable once the new year has started. You can cancel at any time before the renewal date from your subscription settings; access continues to the end of the paid year.
- If you move from a yearly plan to a monthly plan during the year, the unused part of the yearly payment is held as credit on your account against future charges. It is not refunded in cash.
- If you move from a monthly plan to a yearly plan, you pay only the difference for the rest of the current period; Stripe calculates it and shows it before you confirm.
